“Cuisine Tales” is an inedible recipe combined with silk-screen prints. The work is separated into different 16 recipes by writer Yang Jiang's "Three of us" as text material and presented as a poetically illustrated cookbook. In her works, Yang Jiang explained the story of her family's displacement and described the beautiful family relationship. It reflects the traditional model style of the Chinese family. It is the expectation of a complete and loving family life that I find in the novel that led me to choose it in the first place, but during the making of "Cuisine tales”. “Dining", as one of the important activities of family coexistence, means not only swallowing food, but also the Chinese cultural connotation behind it, interpersonal emotions, inner world psychological support, all of which are very important in the Chinese-style family. Different dishes make up the table, becoming a “meal”, while recipes constitute different dishes. This book investigates the relationship between the Chinese original family and future generations and the contemporary world.
